Can anyone tell me if plant sterols are good for cholesterol even after having bypasses and taking a statin? Thank you.

You need to discuss your options with your cardiologist.
Plant sterols directly linked to CHD .
There are a lot of information available, Google!!
If I remember correctly, plant sterols and stanols work by outcompeting cholesterol, so they're independent of the mechanism used by statins (which inhibits HMG-CoA reductase) and are usually worth using alongside. I don't know whether a bypass makes any different and suggest you ask your medics.
Personally, I find stanol products less upsetting to my stomach than sterol products. I also suggest taking the controlled dose shots or tablets, rather fortified products like margarine which are more difficult to measure out the correct doses.

Yes they are excellent. They are in green leafy vegetables. Eat spinach and/or arugula daily, drink 2-5 cups of unsweetened green tea daily (use decaf after 1:00 pm). Add some lemon juice to the tea to improve flavour.
This is what I do each day. The statin is irrelevant. Your bypass surgery is evidence you should be doing this every day.
yes they do I take 3 daily along with, 1 tg opti-omega oil capsules daily
