Had a bypass 7 weeks ago. Chest pain last week saw me in hospital again and xray plus echo showed left side heart is swollen,

Question is how common is this and would it be temporary. Did not understand DR and as my transport was waiting no time to ask him for more info

i agree with clanchattan ------- ---you need to ask your cardiologist sooner rather than later to stop yourself from worrying ------do not GOOGLE this as you'll get no where except for frightening + confusing yourself ----hope this helps

Please find time to go back to the hospital to find out what is going on. You may not find the same Dr in hospital, there will be notes, ask for full explanation, you may need different medication. Dr needs to see the x-ray and echo cardiogram to fully explain the problem. Good luck.
