look for people with experience of Fh in young children, my 16 month daughter has just been diagnosed so looking to chat with people about this

HEART UK have a register of members and one of the founder members did so because of her young son's diagnosis. The Welsh group started a club for youngsters (granted not as young as your daughter) which the teenagers named "FHUK". Please contact HEART UK and ask them to pass on your contact details to other parents of FH children.

There is also an FH Group on Facebook, which is international and a lot of the members have very young children. It used to be an open group but is now members only. Good luck with finding information.

i inherited high cholesterol from my parents, some 35 years ago my reading was 28 diet or exercise didnt work thay put me on various drugs to bring it down after 10 years they put me on avorvastatin and fenofribrate im now 4.9 but still have a bit to go all my four children are ok

Hey my daughter has just been diagnosed. How are you guys getting on? Plus it's scary isn't it? You know they have high cholesterol but they can't have medication . Apart from eating healthy and being active you feel pretty helpless.
