Anyone know of a company that will cover heart conditons for worldwide travel. I think I've tried most of them, but any help would be welcome.

Hi,

I have Barclays account, as part of the account I can pay a monthly fee to have additional benefits and one of the additional benefit is travel insurance. No questions asked, all you have to do is call a medical line number and declare the medical conditions. After 65 I experienced difficulty in getting travel cover. I am not sure if all the banks offer this service.7

Good luck.

Hi I have just returned from Mexico and I found Columbus Direct was the best for me.

Let us know who you eventually go with.

Best wishes

globaltravelinsurance.co.uk... for single trip. High excess but covers FH for about half the price of others.

Multi trip: Nationwide cover it with a similar account to the Barclays one mentioned above.

Thank you all for your suggestions, I'm still ploughing through them!

HEART UK investigated this problem some years back. Suggest you contact them to see their latest findings.

have you tried SAGA insurance? My sister uses them and she has a multitude of conditions that she has to list.

We used AllClear within 7 months after husbands heart attack and bypass - worldwide, annual. Compared several on Moneysupermarket - travel insurance for pre-existing medical conditions.
