Has anyone on Ezetimbe experience of taking this drug to lower Cholestral.. I am lead to believe it is expensive to prescribe, but if it works for me that's great, wont know really its early days.

PS I,ve been told to take UBIQUINOL 1 or 2 tablets a day, he said anyone who has been prescribed STATINS should be told to take UBIQUINOL.

Hi allyg, Like you i have been on different statins, have tried ezetimibe they did not agree with me, went back to the dr, he told me there where only two more i could try, i am know on Atorvastin, i am know on my third month of taking these but my knees are really starting to give me a lot of pain, if this continues i will stop taking them all i can say if they dont agree with you go back to your dr, the only person who knows your body is you,i have also been told not to take ubiquinol while taking statins as it destroys any affect they have on your body. meganbelle
I think ubiquinol is the purest form of CoQ10. A lot of people take CoQ10 if they take statins as it is thought that statins can deplete the production of CoQ10 in the body as it is on the same "production line".
Very interesting report in the paper today about CoQ10 giving good results and lowering death rates in people with heart failure.
