Hello!I have a question really, which I'm finding difficult to find the answer to so hoping someone can help 😊

If you are suffering with alopecia and your hair falls out alot in the shower, the serums and shampoos such as (rosemary oil/caster oil, alepcin shampoo etc) for them to have an effect, are you supposed to use them daily? As I know some say daily, but I am scared to use it all daily in case my hair falls out more and more in the shower! Im finding it a a vicious circle 😔 thanks x

Hi Twiggy22

Welcome to the Changing Faces online community. It sounds like your in a difficult situation in which you have read certain products may help with your Alopecia but also feel concerned that applying them as directed might contribute to further hair loss.

Trying over the counter products and home remedies can be confusing and uncertain process without medical data or a professional or to give you further information about what to expect.

Alopecia UK have produced some advice around trying special shampoos or supplements on their website which may be helpful to consider so I have linked this below:

I hope you also find this space and our online community a supportive and helpful.

Take Care
