Face Camouflage Creams - Make Acne Worse?

Hi

I've been struggling with relatively severe acne for some time now and have tried a large range of treatments over several years which have had little to no effect. The scarring is progressively getting worse with each outbreak and I'm becoming increasingly self conscious. Having tried and failed with treatments I'm now thinking of turning my attention to covering it using male skin camouflage creams. Is applying these creams likely to make the acne any worse through blocking pores etc...?

Many thanks in advance for any advice you can give

Hello Jt0218

I'm sorry you haven't received responses to your post and that your scarring has been getting worse. Changing Faces runs a skin camouflage service and I have not heard any feedback about the creams making acne worse. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 and the importance of keeping clients and practitioners safe, the service is currently closed until further notice. However, they have put some information on the website at changingfaces.org.uk/skin-c... which perhaps might be useful for you. Take care.
