Heatwave

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend . Just a note of caution be careful out in the sun as the heatwave is to continue this week so make sure you drink plenty of fluids as well . Clive X 🤗

Wise words Clive, I'm supposed to be going to my first ever local W. I meeting this afternoon, it's being held in someone's garden so I don't know how shady it will be, thinking of not going due to the heat, hope you're OK

If you decide to go make sure you are not sat directly in the sun and as you say if there's some shade keep under it . Clive X 🤗

Thank you, that's why I'm a bit dubious about going as I don't know if there is any shade in the garden or not, I also emailed the lady last week to see if there's any steps to navigate as I might find that difficult and she hasn't replied

Hello Clive, as Jennymary said, those are wise words. I even managed to end up quite red myself yesterday having not properly taken on board how strong sun would affect me after nearly two years of not being able to take advantage of the outdoors much. I must cover up and use a stronger SPF suncream today.But it was a fun weekend. My daughter visited and we went to Milford on Sea for a stroll, followed by afternoon tea in the garden of a lovely restaurant/cafe in the New Forest. I hope you enjoyed yours too Clive! 👍😊

We are still doing our daily walks but have cut them down due to the heat as we feel it's better being safe than sorry!

How's Kasar getting on with the heat?

Baby is driving us all crackers with her bad tempered meows over the heat!

I went to Christchurch many years ago near Bournemouth as we walked along the coast from Bournemouth up to there which we enjoyed.

Hi Catgirl1976, Kasar too is trying to demand that we switch off the heat! He has a little pop up house which my daughter bought for him and is like a tent and for some reason he loves to hide away in there. I’d have thought it would be a bit airless, I hope Baby will be OK. And I agree it’s probably best to cut back on the walks just for a little while and it cools down!

Just like my little Yorkie, she has a pop up "house" and she seems to think that she can hide from the heat in there, 😊

Nice to know our pets are comfortable in them. Ours gets in the way sometimes and I feel like getting rid of it but Kasar gets so much pleasure from his I try to put up with it! 👍😊
