For our Care topic this week I've compiled another short Poll on what might trouble you the most about your role as a Carer. Please consider voting, as it may give some clues as to the subjects to tackle over the next few weeks. It's a multi-choice Poll so please tick all that apply to you, and add your own thoughts by choosing 'Other' and commenting below the Poll. I think I can probably guess the most usual areas which cause the most distress, but it's always a good idea to confirm that.
I hope you had a pleasant weekend and wishing you all a trouble-free week.

Good morning Sue, this is a great poll idea.I have a wonderful garden centre near me and hadn’t been in for 6 months and I asked one of the owners where the tree I wanted and she leapt back in fright and said I haven’t got my mask and she looked haggard. So I said hey no worries and she told me what I wanted and said how her hubby had degenerated with Alzheimer’s and they’d been arguing.
I was buying my purchases and she suddenly came out and said I remember who you are now!
We’ve chatted many times as I’ve been stocking my garden with their plants for 2 years and was invited to a poetry reading by her daughter in the forest and the memory of this was all clouded by the stress of her hubby.
So all careers deserve our utmost respect for their selflessness. 🙏
I hope that the week is kind to you all.

Thanks Jerry. You are right that Caring is a really tough and often invisible, as well as selfless thing to do. The voice of the Carer is very small as they are often tucked away out of the sight of other people, and get little concern from politicians who, as they have just done once again, put Caring issues on the back-burner. So thanks for your very valid comments! 🙏👍
Thank you Jerry, I can well understand the lady you spoke to feeling stressed as Alzheimer’s is very difficult to deal with. I hope she’s getting help and support as she’s doing a great job.
