Hi everyone. I hope your Friday is going OK so far.
Quite a lot of us have been mentioning a longing for spring to arrive, and there are signs now appearing in nature to say that it is finally on its way, and it’s a beacon of hope for milder, brighter things to come again. Although not everyone in the world gets to live with changes of season, I think everyone can understand what a blessing it is after a cold and dreary winter. Spring could even be seen as a metaphor for life in general.
From time to time throughout life everyone find themselves in personally dark, lonely or frightening places, and it can seem endless, but like spring, in time we can experience an entirely different season of life.
With that in mind I decided to post a few quotes about spring.
A kind word is like a spring day - Russian proverb
Spring is nature’s way of saying “Let’s party”. - Robin Williams
If winter comes, can spring be far behind? - Percy Bysshe Shelley
Spring - A lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be. - Unknown
For any of you who are feeling sad or overburdened or afraid, I hope that better times will come for you soon.
And the attached picture of the crocuses and snowdrops forging their way through the cold earth towards the sun is a little reminder that there's always hope.
Does anyone else have any quotes, sayings or feelings about spring?
Wishing us all some moments of happiness in the weekend ahead despite whatever is sent to try us. Sent with love to you all.
