Well for 6 moths been playing kick the can with incontiance service and there daft diary.

Anyway told doctors we have enough going on trying to manage my dad’s condition and families WITH out keep Log of dad’s movements.

doctor agreed given dad’s issues and ours THEN did not one but two letters over 6 months to incontiance team they just ignored.

They ignored social workers admiral nurse district nurse community nurses doctors BUT when I finally had enough I phoned Quality Care Commission and asked if they could help AS what the incontiance team was doing WAS in my view opinion WAS abuse

Told CQC the ignoring doctors AND that’s bad TOLD them we are having to buy and rely on charity AND as not professional the not always best fit and was contrabuting to dad’s soreness

Anyway CQC did the business as incontiance team Nurse was here next morning doing bladder scan measuring dad.

Thank goodness you’ve got help for your dad JAS but not great you had to go to such lengths to get the help. Xxxxx

Hi sassy was a result .. seems have to go to such lengths with everything these days

Hi JAS,

You seem to be on a bit of a 'roll' with getting things done at the moment. I'm sure it must feel good when you do, but as you said in your reply to sassy59, it's just a shame that you have to go to such lengths to get there. But you've done it and that's what counts. Well done.

I am so pleased you have eventually got some help, but as others have said, you shouldn't need to go to such lengths. Your dad is lucky that you are so persistent.

Well done you JAS !!

If you'd not chased every single avenue,or every falsely made promise by one medic or another, then you'd never had to pull out the "big guns" and speak to the QCC. I say that you've made proper progress here and are now being listened to and not just heard and filed away in a drawer so to speak! Well done! I feel quite elated for you. Please let us know how the visits from the incontinence team goes for your Dad. Are the QCC going to help you with all your own health issues at all? Seems like you've broken through the barriers, you've been trying to do for so long now and hopefully, fingers crossed, things can only get better?

Well done!

Hi JAS! Good for u! Unless we stand up to funding bandits we will, an do, get nothing! Proud of u! Where the link is with compassion, care, competence, communication, commitment and courage I'm really not sure? They've had at least 5 years to get to understand what these concepts actually mean! Although the CQC supported you, they are also responsible for making accurate reports. Is this being done? There seems to be more holes than you'd find in a lace curtain!

Not what you're looking for?
