Good morning all and welcome to Feel Good Friday.

Earlier this week I had an experience which turned out completely different to what was expected.

I’m sure we all get those irritating cold calls selling insurance or asking if you’ve been in a car accident. So when I answered my phone during the afternoon a couple of days ago I was fully expecting it to be just that.

Instead it was a lovely call from an old friend catching up after quite a long time which left me feeling in a good mood for the rest of the day

We’ve had a good week and Petes doing well. Our eldest son has viral bronchitis so we’re hoping he improves soon.

Hi MAS_Nurse, I love those unexpected moments that turn the day around. I could do with one right now as I'm having one of those days where the minutes are rushing through my fingers and I can't catch up.

Most of it is my own fault. I've been battling with a Powerpoint presentation as a surprise for my husband for our upcoming wedding anniversary. I haven't had to do one since quite a while before I retired, and it's been a long and frustrating process, with many unexpected special effects! (not such good ones). And I've just remembered how laborious it is to try to search through online digital pictures to include in the presentation. All those tiny thumbnails that I can't see properly without opening them, and didn't bother to rename, so all have mysterious names like IMG 4708e.jpg. But it is absorbing and fun and I'll get there in the end, even if I am up until 3am!
