Tell us about your week and if you are doing anything for the Bank holiday Monday?

We would love to hear your highlights of the past week or what you are planning for the holiday Monday. Are you looking forward to the day or are you dreading it? Good or bad we are here with a listening ear.

I am going to take 5minutes just for myself on Monday. Have a cuppa and just chill out listening to some light music. Heaven - What are you planning to do? just let us know.

Enjoy your musical bank holiday on Monday. We don't have a bank holiday on Monday here in the U.S. I'm always interested in the differences in British and American language and customs.

Hi jaykay777 I remember my colleague in the US asking me why it was called a bank holiday and I didn't realise that they were actually days that were designated for the banks to be closed. Apparently there was a law passed in the 1800's that assigned 4 official days to be considered Bank holidays.

Good morning, well I m in Greece just now. Came out on Tuesday for a week, and told my siblings to just get on with it. Going to a barbecue tonight, place I'm in piskopiano, peaceful, tranquil just what I needed even if only for a week. X

Hi good morning, it is now Sunday and a beautiful sunny day. Than why can I not feel a bit happier? Had a bit of a meltdown this week. Caring for my husband for the past 5 years , with dementia is taking its toll. I am getting so depressed. A GP at the surgery did have a word with me, and promised to get some help sorted. So waiting to see what will happen. I promised myself to sit in the garden today, with a book for as long as it takes. 😊
