I have this problem, too. Have plenty of water to hand.. You could try cutting the tablet in half. Try one tablet at a time. Not swallow the whole lot at once. This has happened when I am in a hurry

Better still. Talk to your pharmacist and ask if you could have the med in liquid form or water soluble. All the best.

Hi Jan. In reply to your query. My Beloved Late Granny had problems swallowing tablets. So where possible we crushed them to a powder and then she could take them with water. This also prevented choking. I hope this advice is somewhat helpful. Good luck. Lots of love. Take care.

Ellie I am so grateful to you because moms life could be so much easier as she dreads taking her meds. So sorry for your loss. Hope you are well also. Take care love Jan xx

I would certainly talk to her GP and pharmacist to see if there are any liquid forms of her medication and if there are, ensure it is noted on her records for future.

Thank you Lynn I certainly will stay well Jan xx

I occasionally have problems with tablets, so I take them with yogurt! I take a teaspoonful of yogurt out of the pot and drop a pill into it, then it goes down quite smoothly. Repeat for the number of pills.
