I am new to this site. My Father died 3 years ago and I worked full time then. I took him and my Mother to hospital on many occasions and did certain things for them in the house etc. As my Mother is now on her own and cannot drive, I take her shopping, hair dressers, hospital appointments, anything she needs help with I do. Am I entitled to get some sort of carers allowance for things I do for her. She is 88 and I work for myself part time.
