Is it possible to ever get the gut right again after damage from drugs especially 2 courses of strong broad-spectrum antibiotics?

I assume you are taking 'good bacteria' to re-balance your gut? Make sure you get some really good ones from a health food store.

I tried numerous different ones to no avail some were prescribed by a very good nutritionist and even she said my body did not know what to do with them. A gastro-enterologist told me that when the delicate unique individual balance of gut flora and fauna are destroyed by bacteria it is very difficult to get it back even with probiotics. I do eat raw food and prebiotic foods though and my diet is whole food with no preservatives or additives.

I have heard probiotic yoghurt drinks are effective and indeed when my mother had C Difficile they were given to her in hospital.

Not for me and I am allergic to dairy - causes bad asthma.
