It changed my life!

‘Old age ain’t no place for sissies,’ as the great actress Bette Davis famously said. Advancing years bring all sorts of physical challenges, like poor eyesight, painful joints, hearing loss and a tendency to fall. And it can wreck a good social life if you can’t get out and about any more.

Is your parent or older relative having to adapt to their declining abilities? Anything from not being able to open food packets and jars, to not being able to get in and out of the bath, to not being able to walk unaided.

What was the one thing that made a huge difference for them? It could be a walking stick or frame. A seat riser. A chair lift installed in their home. If you have found something that has changed your loved one’s life for the better, why not share it with the Community. We’d love to hear from you.

Best wishes,
