Can you child suck on a dummy? My son have a little bit of large tongue and dont have any trouble feeding. He's not interested in a dummy....I am just wondering if its because of his tongue or he just doesnt like it?

We where the opposite we had huge difficulty with feeding but found the smallest dummy and used that. Don't get me wrong she couldn't hold it in her mouth very well but a lot better than when feeding. We spend alit if times sat holding it in her mouth for her, and I do believe it actual helped her learn to control it better. I must add her tongue was large but she could get it in her mouth she just couldn't keep it there haha xx

My daughter wants a pacifier so bad but it pops out immediately. she feeds fine though we did have to up her nipple size (Size 2 and her twin is Size preemie). She used to put her tongue in occasionally but in the past two weeks I haven't noticed it in at all. I hope it's not getting bigger.
