Ear Infection cured my Tinnitus !!!

I've had T for a few years now, constant in both ears, same volume. I had a minor ear infection a couple of weeks ago, not down inside the ear, just external very slight swelling.

Anyhow, my tinnitus in that ear went in that ear during the infection, and now the infection is over, the T is still gone. It might be there but so very quiet, not certain which, but who cares.

I absolutely certain it'll come back, but thought that might be interesting. Does make me wonder why I can't find a cure if a simple infection does the job!

Well how interesting. I certainly am convinced that my T. is a pressure thing which would correspond with what has happened to you. I do wonder why nobody seems interested in looking at the causes of T. since it causes so much misery for so many people. I hope the quiet lasts.
