I woke after a nap 4 days ago and my left ear felt clogged and it was buzzing kind of. So 2 days after that I went to an ent and I had a lot of ear wax in my left ear and so he microsuctioned it out, but the tinnitus didn’t go away. He then did a auditory test and one frequency in my left ear had mild hearing loss. He then gave me a steroid shot in my ear, thinking it might be sudden sensoneural hearing loss. The ringing has gotten a little louder, but I don’t know if that’s just the anxiety or something else. I’m hoping the tinnitus is from the large amounts of ear wax in my left ear, and that’s it’s only gonna take a couple days to get better. I’m only 18 and these past couple of days have been some of the hardest days of my life. Please if anyone can help me or has gone through something similar please let me know.

Such a difficult time for you and those around you.
It’s taken me 4 weeks or so for my T to calm down following micro suction so hang on in there and try to stay strong and positive.

Some good news, I have from today. I went to my ent and got a hearing test done and my hearing is back to normal, so there hoping that since the inflammation has gone done the tinnitus will fade in time as well, it kind of feels like it already has... Thanks be to the LORD I caught it early and didn’t wait to get treatment for the sudden sensoneural hearing loss, because time is truly of the essence. I hope that this can give somebody hope if they need it... it sure has given me hope... thank you to the people that have replied and given me comfort and solace and thanks especially to those who may have prayed for me... praise and glory be to GOD🙏 Always!!!❤️
