I have had 2 Pik lines w Cephloporin med for 3 weeks twice in 7 mos, then 4 rounds of Cipro .

Still infected and next UCD will probably put another Pikk line w meds this week. So tired of this.

I live alone w 4 cats so need to be here rather than hospital so ci can take care of them.

Has anyone had better results w a diff drug for this bacteria?

Thank u

I see you have not had a reply after 19 hours. You might want to try posting on ALUK Lung Conditions Community. Lots of people with bronchiectasis who are colonised with pseudo as am I. I note you are from the States and wonder if they allow you to do home IVs.. sounds like a good solution re your cats. I was down to do my own at home but unfortunately got covid at the same time so had to go in for my IVs. My sister has my cat and I am hoping she will be back with me very soon.I appreciate it would be more difficult for you with 4 cats.
