Hi everyone I’m Tom I had brain injury in 2008 and whilst been in hospital I caught bronchiectasis which when combined with the lasting effects of a severe brain injury has made things very tough, means I’ve lost all confidence and feel socially awkward as I’ve spent the last 14 years either in hospital or at home recovering

Welcome to this friendly, funny and informative forum. Having a chronic illness certainly saps a person's confidence but I'm sure some of our younger members will have ideas for building yours. I'm not sure the confidence boosting antics of a lady of a certain age will be helpful. 😊

Bronchitis is lung damage caused by other conditions such as whooping cough, pneumonia, asthma.
