Planning for Winter

My bronchiectasis is worse in the winter in the Uk. I only have it midly in one lung but I also have a non malignant lump in the same lung. Have any members found it beneficial to move to the Algarve or anywhere else in southern Europe for the winter months? I am retired so it may be an option if I can find a place for the family to join me for visits. I am not much use to anyone in the winter in the UK as constantly ill so it could help everyone if I could find a better climate.
