Germ bags who don’t cover their mouths!

For the first time in a long time I’ve only had 1 infection since having Pluresy in March. Now getting a cold which always goes to my chest. I’ve been really good, avoiding family and friends if they have been unwell. Using anti bac ( a lot). I’m now sat on a train opposite a woman who is coughing everywhere without even attempting to cough her mouth! So infuriating! Some people are so thoughtless!

My pet hate too! In fact I may be tempted to carry a face mask just for these sorts of situations. The Japanese do to protect themselves against pollution, so I don’t see why we shouldn’t protect ourselves against other people’s irresponsible germ warfare!

There was a Japanese guy on the train today with a pretty decent looking mask and I was tempted to ask where he got it. It’s common sense and good manners to cover your mouth when you cough. She wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end off on of my coughs!

I agree. So annoying and difficult to deal with when it's a stranger. I'm always quite anxious now when I am in public places. What is a small cold to that person could be months of bronch flare-up and antibiotics to us. I carry surgical masks in my bag. Got a pack from the chemist ready for just such occasions. So far I have not needed to wear one. But I agree with Kabro, its germ warfare! I tend to stay in fresh, open spaces as much as I can.

I prefer to walk but unfortunately have to commute. It really annoys me, my last cold turned to pluresy and I ended up in hospital on a neubulizer. It’s really scary.

I now check around for signs of colds before I’ll sit.

I wear a scarf, acts as a mask while keeping you warm!
