Has anyone had a T.I.P.S op?

Have liver disease and have been accepted (subject to recent Mri scan results) to have the T.I.P.S operation, has anyone had this?

Yes i had a tipps inserted in 2004 and it did me the power off good. I had it done after i had an upper gi bleed and spent some time in icu. I have had it checked a few times and a little extension put on it, but appart from that never bothers me.

Thank you for the response, am hoping it will help/work as if it does not, will require a transplant. Am glad it has worked for you.
