hello,

Does anyone know if you should wear flight socks for short haul flights? I have cirrhosis (now compensated) and grade 1 oesophageal varices. I have a couple of short haul trips of less than 4hrs flying time coming up

Hi,I always did as they help prevent clots which as I am sure you are aware with cirrhosis and varices your blood flow is impaired. I still wear them now even after receiving a full liver transplant a year ago. I can also recommend Vibe travel insurance, very good rates for medical conditions, for example we are due to go away next week and even after a transplant my insurance is £100, which after shopping around I found to be a good price.

Best wishes for the future!
