And I had my ultrasound yesterday & with my symptoms I was certain something would be picked up as they are symptoms of chronic liver disease.
but the sonographer said everything looks fine even gallbladder.
amazing I’m so relieved.
so now despite symptoms I have clear bloods and clear ultrasound.
I know some on here have suggested a fibroscan but highly doubt that will be approved and they’ll tell me I just have health anxiety. I don’t want to continue chase the liver as my cause as that’s mostly ruled out.
I think for 29 years old, normal bmi, non drinker no medical conditions I should accept that it’s not my liver. Although symptoms lead me to think otherwise.
I will continue everything I’ve done this past month to better my health and ensure I don’t find myself in this position again or worsening symptoms.
I did have an mri this year, a biopsy, a sigmoidoscopy and even ultrasound
Also bloods on 3 different occasions all clear which must mean at least nothing sinister is going on
thanks for all the support, wishing you utmost health, healing and a jolly festive season!

I wish you well and hope that your symptoms resolve so you can stop worrying about this. I see your GP declined Hep B and Hep C blood tests. If you don't fit any of the risk factors then I can see why - the full tests are expensive. I can tell you, however, that Hep C screening tests can be self administered and are currently free of charge (if you are in the UK) as the NHS is trying to eradicate Hep C. You can go online, answer a few questions, and obtain a test pack. My husband had to do this when my Hep C was picked up. I did not fit any of the risk factors but in the end the specialist wanted to rule out all forms of Hepatitis because we had checked pretty much everything else. I know you said you want to forget about your liver but thought I would mention this in case you want to try to rule it out for some peace of mind.
Great suggestion, I am considering it as my urine is still dark and still have indigestion, private test did indicate raised bilirubin and ALP, but nhs blood tests, urine tests and ultrasound were clear. Might be worth me doing Hep C to be certain,
Also why did you get tested for Hep C, as in was specialist sure something was going on with your liver, was it something your blood work/ ultrasound indicated ?
