It's confusing

Hi there I was diagnosed F3 kp a 9.8 by fibroscan in July lost a stone so far liver blood tests all perfect and Dr mentions no focal lesions (thank heavens) on ultrasound would they see fibrosis im confused will the weight loss help thanks

Hello. If youve been told you have Fatty Liver, yes, weight loss will help. Generally speaking a healthy BMI also makes life easier for a struggling Liver, however depending on how advanced Liver disease and what condition you have - it may be best to ask your Dr or specialist for dietry advice. Conditions such as advanced Cirrhosis for example tend to eat muscle so different advice would be given. Without knowing more about your condition its difficult to give a straight forward answer to your question which might be why no-one has answered!! None of us on here are health proffessionals.
