flying with bands

hi since February I have had 7 bands on my varices I am just wondering if your able to fly after banding?

I did after 4 bands and the consultant said it wasn’t an issue as essentially all the band does it get rid of the Varicies.

The issue is fresh varices can appear within weeks unless they are totally eradicated. Over a space of 2 years my hubby had 42 varices banded going every 6 to 8 weeks for endoscopies. You'll need to be cleared to fly by your consultant.

You must check with your consultant as nobody here knows your history or if you still have any remaining varices.

Your travel insurance cost will be expensive!

Just looked at your previous posts.

I would not consider flying, if you have a bleed in flight it's unlikely you would survive.

It's also unlikely you would be able to get travel insurance.

I would not fly. If something happens they have kno why of treating ing you
