Cephalexin - is it safe?

Does anyone know if this is generally safe to take with mild well compensated cirrhosis?

of course, you’re Hepatologist is the one to answer that question. But I’ve been on many different kinds of antibiotics. And they’ve always been OK with my issues. An infection is more dangerous than, our liver issues.

Thanks! It is antibiotic for an eyelid infection probably from an eyelash or makeup in a follicle. I wanted to nip it before it got any worse.

Naturally (eye-roll), it so happened to manifest itself on a Friday ! 😳😅. No pun intended with the eye-roll.

Probably too late but eyedrop antibiotics would probably be better.

As an fyi (to anyone else) my hepatologist said this antibiotic, cephalexin (aka Keflex) is ok. For me at least.
