My hubby takes honey and lemon in hot water when he has a cough (as a natural cough remedy) & he has cirrhosis and diabetes - an occasional glass isn't going to do you much harm.

I use natural honey in my teas, but if you have a fatty liver I’d run it past your doctors if you can as we are all different when it comes to our diet and what works for one may not work for the other.

I don’t think a smidge of honey now and then will harm. My partner swears by his daily cup of hot lemon, he’s been having it since his cirrhosis diagnosis

Hi I had decompensated liver, now compensated & have local honey ½tsp in my coffee every morning. As above check with consultant or dietician.

Take good care xx
