Feeling shivery
If this is a new symptom it's time to have a chat with your gp just to make sure its not an infection. With liver disease you can feel cold, so that is a possibility, but, it is eminently sensible to get it checked out anyway. Being cold is one thing but shivering is probably a bit beyond that. So do get it checked out when you can.
Hi, I agree with Kristian. If you can rule out the obvious dreaded covid etc get it checked out as a new symptom. My hubbie shivered and felt cold when his liver was bad, often said he just couldn't warm up. The liver has many jobs and being the bodies thermostate is one of them.
my wife and I both had this. Before Xmas it lasted about 3 weeks, we just kept ourselves isolated. All thebest
Have you done a home Covid test. Might be worth while, just to rule it out.
I feel shivery all the time , diagnosed with cirrhosis 9 months ago , but was shivery all my life , even as a young child , 54 now 🤷♂️
Thanks so much everyone. I'm hoping I've just got a virus but I felt like this when I was first diagnosed. Happy New year to you all
