what to expect after a TIPS procedure

my son had a TIPS procedure on Tuesday and I wondered if anyone who has had the procedure would share their experience . some of the things I don’t know and would like to know :

Did you have any pain in your shoulder for a few days after?

do you know if they inflated your abdomen with CO2 before the surgery ?

Did the TIPS reduce the ascities and did you have an immediate improvement ?

Did you need draining afterwards ? Was it fewer litres and less frequent ?
