I had a CT scan a couple of years ago, that just listed the result as "Chest, Abdomen and Pelvis - All normal"
Would the CT Scan have to specifically look at the liver or would that be covered in the description above? its quite a large area - Chest to pelvis. thanks.

My pelvis CT reported incidental findings in liver and spleen, a subsequent abdo CT also covered pelvis. I’ve since had a more detailed MRI to check liver and spleen findings.
Yes, an abdominal and pelvic CT absolutely and specifically looks at the abdominal and pelvic organs - so the liver, spleen, pancreas etc. If required it can easily encompass the gastrointestinal tract too.
I have MRI’s and CT scans every 12 weeks as I have liver cancer they always scan the liver but do you have ultra scans ? Because they can tell quite a bit from them .. good luck …
