Is anyone eating a high protein diet but worried about the effects on their kidneys? Would a high protein intake cause kidney disease eventually?

Yes, and no I’m not worried. I used to do it for weight training before. My kidneys have been through a lot but have always bounced back thankfully and none of it was caused by high protein (HRS isn’t fun btw). It also a (potential, I don’t by the high protein damage stuff) trade off of slight damage to kidneys vs collapse of liver function; one is definitely better than the other.
