Hi guys just an update saw my liver specialist nurse and armed with my list( thanks cris) l was able to get some answers and explanations about my cirossis.Having just started on beta blockers for varaces she did my b.p and pulse I could see some alarm in her face she said l must stop beta blockers immediately and rest for a few days apparently both where thru the floor 😕

She's going to speak with the consultant and see me next week.so slightly concerned l may not be able to tolerate b.b.s

Hello love. Glad the list came in handy😀.

Sometimes beta blockers can cause low blood pressure, they may well try you on another beta blocker,what works for 1 may not work for another.

Ive been OK on my carvedilol, up to now.

Were you feeling dizziness or light headed?.

Your liver nurse will sort something, there are alternatives i think.

Did you manage to discuss dietary needs?.

Oh yes love its a roller coaster alright 😀.

Had been feeling light headed but just thought it was my body getting used to the beta blockers.finaly got appointment with dietitian... September!Liver nurse did give me some guidance..it's a job in itself this staying alive🤣 !!

It certainly is a job this trying to stay alive😄.At least you have another appointment with the liver nurse next week,so maybe get more sorted next week....hopefully!!

we’ll done for going prepared. It certainly is a rollercoaster but you learn as you go along and you can still have fun along the way x

Thanks looking forward to the fun bit😄seems all about meds peeing enough pooing enough eating the right stuff and how many drinks of coffee ☕ in 1.5 lts of fluid.,living the dream can only get better l hope!!👍
