hi was diagnosed with NAFLD about 3 years ago. The main issue I seem to experience is hypertension and loosing blood . I am 48 and due for my medical which I have entitlement to drive cars , coaches , trucks and motorcycle. Am I likely to get licenses revoked ?

What do you mean by loosing blood? If your bleeding internally and have high BP your condition is likely to be far more serious and advanced than a NAFLD diagnosis.

Hi, nobody ever mentioned taking my driving licence away, I had NASH cirrhosis, portal hypertension, PVT, 3 massive bleeds from varicies, now had a transplant. I believe if you have HE- Hepatic Encephalopathy your driving licence will be revoked.Only your doctor can really answer.

DVLA Online has a long list of things you must report, just tell them everything. They will decide.

Hi, all I can suggest is check with your insurance company, if it's not covered by them them there is a possibility that it would be taken from you. It's a nuisance as we've been through this with hubbie, it took ages to get licence back after his DVLA assessment said he was ok to drove again.
