Enlarged Liver

Is enlarged liver same as fatty liver? Thanks

Hi Foxglove, I think they can be but aren’t necessarily. You can have a fatty liver that isn’t enlarged and an enlarged liver that isn’t fatty. However quite often the reason a liver is enlarged is because it’s fatty. I’m sure someone more knowledgeable will be able to provide a better answer 😊
