Hi I am still awaiting hepatology appointment said I would be seen in April just wondering if anyone can say if it’s a long process for your inflammation to go down around your liver it’s been about 6 weeks and still uncomfortable when walking or been stood too long I have changed my diet and take walks and swim I have managed to lose 17lb still a long way to go just worried that I still have the pain or does it take a long time not bothered as long as it’s going the right way

no it should say 2023 should have been going but I have portal hypertension and not sure about the extent of liver damage till I see hepatology had scans and blood texts so don’t want to risk going thank you for your kind words it’s good coming on here for positive comments and insight while waiting for outcome

thank you but I will be happy to stay home as long as I’m ok would be happy been healthy the holidays are not the most important thing I have come to realise take care Freya x
