platelets, ferritin and anemia

Hi all,

I was diagnosed with NAFLD 12 years ago. I was huge at the time, and was still huge when I was diagnosed with F4 scarring cirrhosis last September, with 19.5 Kpa Fibroscan. I was a serious everyday drinker all those years. I stopped drinking and have lost 35kg since then, and my latest Fibroscan came in 12.5 - F3 scarring. Next scan in 12 months. I feel like Ive pulled back from the brink but still have cirrhosis of course. My ferritin is still high, my red blood cells and haematocrit are low (anemic) and my platelets are very low. I feel great most of the time but feel like I have a hangover every morning, and get cold in fingers and toes quite easily, even in warm weather. Any one else had the anemia thing, is it a big problem, and will it and the platelets and the ferritin sort themselves out over time?

Thanks everybody
