Referral after Ultra sound

I have just had an ultrasound and they have seen a spot on my liver and also on my kidney. Being referred for more scans. Terrified.

I know it’s scary when they see things in scans but it isn’t always what you think. A stenographer saw ‘something’ on one of my liver ultrasounds. Scared the life out of me when she referred me for more tests. After a CT scan, it turned out that I had a “horseshoe kidney”. It seems that my kidneys didn’t separate properly and move into the right places. Still functioning properly just in a strange place. So try not to worry, it doesn’t help (says she who would be top of the worry scale) and it could all be fine.
