So nice to read something positive. Can be a bit scary on here. I'm new to this stuff. Had so much 'difficult to hear' information over past few months ! Always hope and I'll try stay positive. Well done you.
Thank you, appreciated the reply. Yes, I joined this group nearly 5 years ago now. At that time this group was amazing, the folks on here were so supportive and understanding. It truly kept me going. I had liver cancer and was terminal at the time. They know all about the difficult stuff to hear, losing hope, being scared, they are all there for you. Cheering you on. Offering support, it is not always by professionals, but more the people on the ground who have been through it and know your pain, your hurt, your fear. This is where this group excels in giving you the support you need when you are hurting the most. When you are in your darkest place they will bring you light. In so doing you stay that bit more positive, it gets you through, to see others now living full and happy lives. Everyone on here, they are not all in the same boat as you, but all rowing for their lives. Some are in speed boats and recover quickly, others have a row boat and it seems harder, some have lost an oar, but all are doing the same. Trying to survive a fight for your life. Good luck on your journey, know you are in the right place to find that much needed honest place for support and encouragement.
your words I'm sure will give many people a lot of hope and comfort. Thank you. Holly x
I hope all is well, maybe you can help people with answers about holidays insurance and diet and all sorts of things 👍👍
I do not know very much, most of what I know came from this site anyway lots of really knowledgable folk on here. I will still do my best to help anyone.
Great to see you back JayceeC, glad transplant has happened and you are doing so well.

That’s great JayceeC 👍. Just a little bit ahead of you at 4 and a half years. Still read most of what goes on here though 😀👍. Hope you are doing well.

all great thank you had a few hiccups. Never will I forget folk like you and many others, who helped so much, for so long before transplant. You are all hero’s in my book.
