pain under ribs

I have been told I have cirhosis not sure what stage kpa 28 although getting a second opinion what can you take its a dull throbbing and has been there for 2 months

My hubby only gets any aches from his cirrhotic liver when he's stressed - like when his Dad died, funeral and getting everything sorted, PIP assessment etc. The rest of the time he has no pain there. The liver itself has no pain receptors but if inflamed it can stretch the glisson's capsule which surrounds it and this can cause twinges.

Pain relief is something you need to clear with your own doctor as advice varies. A hot water bottle and a relax can be theraputic though.
