I would like to get the first part of a Dylan Thomas poem inked onto my wrist but worried about bleeding and infection
I have Cirrhosis of the Liver and Hear... - British Liver Trust
I have Cirrhosis of the Liver and Heart failure is it safe to get a Tattoo
well I had another tattoo for my 50th birthday not sure if I should have or not but I didn’t have any problems. I’ve seen people on fb liver groups that have had them ( some liver warrior related) but at the end of the day it’s up to you really.
Sorry if that does not really help 🤷♂️
I was fine
With cirrhosis I would be more concerned with any possible long term effects of the dye, if anything.
If you need to ask why risk it!
Nobody suffers or worries because the DONT have a tattoo!
Because the poem means a lot more to me now I've been told I may not have that long, and I'd like to see it when I feel low.
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
then jump to cos i can't fit the whole thing on my arm
"Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way
Do not go gentle into that good night."
Dylan Died young but was an amazing poet
