had an ultrasound on Saturday and the consultant called on Monday telling me I need an emergency CT scan as nodules were noted on my liver. CT scan at 13:30 today. Absolutely petrified!

I know it is really hard not to worry but as you have been monitored your Consultant has been quick to act and send you for a CT, sending strength to you, hope all goes well today xx

The good news is that they are on it and are doing things, a lot of people worry because they are not contacted. Good luck and all my thoughts are with you, let us know the good news when you get it 💕.Stay Safe All

It must be very scary, it sounds like you have a very on the ball doctor. There’s a few things that “ nodules “ cover. I’m sure your brain went straight to cancer ( mine would) but cysts and benign lumps ( just like breast lumps) are all possible. Take a deep breath and have your scan and remember that early detection provides the best outcomes, if god-forbid it’s the worst option) Very good luck

I had a similar call a while back, The US suggested cancer, it turned out to be excess breast tissue. I never as a man I thought I would be relived to have excess breast tissue.

finally got a call from the consultant. The CT scan was inconclusive so now I have to go for an MRI.
