I have 2 hernias, belly & groin, that no one will go near till liver is taken care of. They are growing & becoming more uncomfortable. Was turned down for transplant so I’m b/wn a rock & hard place. Since— hernias are discharging thru my skin on it’s own & leaks quite a lot of liquid. A hole appears & a stream just squirts out. Went to ER 2X but no one knows what to do now. R’cd salve for infection, but happens again & cannot get help. Any advice? Thx

Where to go from here?
Consider a living donor liver transplant so you can get treated much sooner. You will need to find a donor like a spouse or child or sibling, but the operation is very successful most of the time. You might have to travel to Turkey or India to get it for a cheaper price. If you have good insurance in America it can be done in America - several hospitals specialize in Living Donor Transplants, look for the one nearest you.
There is an identical site to this one for American's perhaps people can help you there more since maybe they know hospitals near you, stuff about insurance coverage, etc.
The good news is the 10 MELD, that is probably why you were turned down, not sick enough, at least not yet.
It has nothing to do with good insurance, meld score not high enough, people here can have transplant done with medicaid, (public assist). Medicaid is similar to socialized medicine ,but most don't like medicaid, mostly for the poor. The site you are talking about ,no longer exist, I wish it did.
Welcome to the forum. It may be helpful for you to contact liverfoundation.org/ who will have up-to-date information, relevant to you in the US.
Best wishes
