Help!I have NAFLD. Do my nails look concerning at all?

Do my nails look like there’s a problem with my liver or heart to anyone? I have NAFLD and get periodic pain. My doc doesn’t seem too concerned with my blood tests and said to lose some weight. I’m worried that it is progressing. Do they look concerning? They are also very brittle and split down the middle quite often.

I wouldn't be worrying about your nails. When your doc has advised you to lose weight, that is what you should be addressing.

Just lose weight and don't worry about nails for now. I have read (I am not a doctor or expert) that doctors have basically stopped using nails as a symptom to check off because by the time bad cirrhosis nails develop you have a dozen other symptoms already like yellow skin coca cola colored urine, etc.

So if nails are the only thing, listen to your doctor and lose weight. And stop drinking until you are at a good BMI level.
