Just looking back through my medical records and I noticed a blood test I had done for unrelated reasons to my liver(all LFTs etc normal) in 2015,my platelets were at 138k. That’s what they are now? Could I just have low platelets then? Interesting.......

It's possible you had cirrhosis during that time and if you saw a primary doctor that knows nothing about the liver, he or she ignored it.
Funny you should say that because one of my ggt was raised and she said,I’m not concerned about that,I’ve seen it in the thousands before. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Platelets are usually the first sign that usually make a good doctor look further, 85% of people with cirrhosis have low platelets, too bad your doctor didn't look further. Your doc saying she has seen GGT in the thousands is no excuse for her not to dig further and find out why your GGT was raised ,even if it wasn't in the thousands, seem we have to educate ourselves. good luck!
