Bilirubin fluctuations

I hope you are all ok . After 2 and a half years my brain has switched off regarding this. What causes it to have fluctuations when I am totally alcohol free? Between 17 and 25. Are the readings, well over 100 when I stopped drinking. I'm sorry to ask but I'm just plodding along with the flow of life.

Thats interesting. My husbands are classed as stable but are in a range difference of 20. He has been off alcohol for 2 and half years. His consultant said this range difference was normal, she said they could do bloods in the afternoon and it could be different to the ones that morning 🤷‍♂️ I don't know why though - I'm guessing the liver is constantly chugging away processing everything that goes into the body. His count did go up quite high recently when he had a virus though, so it must also reflect the capacity the Liver has to function well that day.Ewife

Bilirubin levels vary in everyone depending on what time of day and what they have eaten, so don’t worry x
