A imbalanced liver count is that the same has elevated liver count

I've got to say that in 10 years on the forum I have never heard the term 'imbalanced liver count' so it would be impossible to say without the context behind it.

Maybe it’s just a different term for elevated

I've only seen mention of an imbalanced liver from practioners of alternative medicine, never from real doctors. I would be very wary of anyone who used such an odd term.

It was actually his GP that said it but I know what you mean

Very strange! At least an imbalance doesn't sound very significant.

That is good news. Significant elevations are 3x maximum or more. Hopefully his GP will take more bloods in a few months to keep an eye on him.

Thankyou his first blood test 2 weeks ago 2 nd is tomorrow so go is doing good

Assuming that's AST and ALT ratio it's not that significant.Needs checking "just in case" but it's fairly common.

Hi GP is highly likely to check again several times over the next year or two.
